you asked a smart assistant on your phone or speaker what the score was.

There aren't any England-Australia football matches on the 16th of August 23.

That wasn't quite the right answer.

That's what happened when Amazon's device, the Echo, was asked for details of the

semi-final game between Australia and England.

It seemed the AI involved was only considering the men's game as football.

We'll explore why and what other biases might exist in the AI we interact with in everyday life.
