well, please God, not dress to impress.

You might wonder, why do I call my program Enjoying Everyday Life?

Well, I'm very fond of John 1010 that says the thief who is the devil only comes to steal, kill, and destroy.

But Jesus said, I came that you might have an enjoy your life and have an abundance to the full until it overflows.

And it took me a long time to learn that it was okay to enjoy life.

I felt like I should be working all the time or producing something all the time.

I didn't grow up in an atmosphere where I was taught to enjoy life.

And so it took me a long time. And I would imagine there's a lot of you that may be feel the same way.

And God wants us to enjoy our life. And I believe that when we know the Word of God, which I teach everyday on the program,

that that's how we can learn to enjoy our life.

So, in case you ever wondered, that's why I call it Enjoying Everyday Life.

Today I want to talk to you about why do I do what I do?

And it's about motives.

You know, God cares not so much about what we do as why we do it.

Now, of course, He wants us to do good things, but He wants us to do good things with the right motive for a right reason.

God cares more about the heart, the hidden man of the heart, than He does what we show people on the outside.

Because we can be hypocritical, we can be pretenders, we can show one thing on the outside while feeling or thinking a different thing on the inside.
