2022 was the weakest year for traditional IPOs since the.com bubble burst, but the IPO market

may finally be heating up again.

And it looks like restaurants are leading the way.

This morning, Kava Group, which is the parent company of the growing Mediterranean style

restaurant chain Kava, filed paperwork confidentially with the SEC to go public.

And the Wall Street Journal is reporting that Panera is working on a return to the public

So what is your reaction to either or both?

Well, I mean, I'm not terribly surprised, I guess.

You certainly see this happen from time to time, particularly if you see a business like

Panera, for example, acquired by JAB several years back, right?

I mean, Panera was a pretty good investment for a while, right?

And I think a lot of people did very well with it.
