which was yesterday, my surgery on a tendon, my naughty finger, was suddenly made three-and-a-half hours

earlier without any discussion, knowledge, information. I only knew it because the anesthesia guy

left a message,

don't eat anything, which is a stupid thing to tell me.

If I haven't eaten it since 6 o'clock the night before,

I thought, yeah, I'm not having anesthesia.

So I don't know what the story is there, so I called.

So I finally talked to the doctor who said, yeah,

this is what the surgical center does. So I finally talked to the doctor who said, yeah, this is what the surgical

center does. They don't want to pay, they don't want output of money. So any extra hours,

any extra things that their nurses have to do, they try to cut back on everything. So if somebody

canceled or they didn't have a morning surgery, that's it.

They just take the afternoon and jam it into the morning without telling you to save money.

I understand the concept.

But I didn't want to take off from the radio program.

So I got the doctor on the phone.
