| 0:57.0 | And what we've seen throughout US history is that those efforts tend to disproportionately affect minority voters, especially African Americans. |
| 1:05.2 | So while the Voting Rights Act prohibits racial discrimination in elections, we still |
| 1:09.7 | see that black voters are targeted for various forms of voter suppression. |
| 1:14.0 | And so online, on Twitter, on Facebook and YouTube, they all have policies that explicitly sort of ban misleading |
| 1:25.7 | information, right, about voting procedures. But voter suppression can take a lot of different |
| 1:29.9 | forms beyond just misleading information about procedures. |
