And although it looked very much as though he was moving towards the military option,

there was some doubt about it on Thursday night when Donald Trump declared that he would

make a decision within two weeks.

But it seems that this was a faint of some sorts because these strikes happened late

I'm delighted to be joined by Jacob Harbrun, who is editor of the national

interest, who has been writing a lot about this. Jacob, were you surprised after the Thursday

reaction that the strike happened on Saturday? No, I was not, because I predicted I didn't interview with Lix Press in Paris.

And I thought everything was a, the incentive structure was aligned for Trump to carry out

the strikes because he thought that the Israelis were doing well.

He wanted in on the action.

And Trump does want to go down in history as a great president.

And so this was exactly the kind of move that Trump likes to make.

about taking over Canada. If he can go down as the one president that quashed the Iranian
