Liverpool Echo Parish and we had a chat about the Lenny Euro situation and just found out

why the Reds didn't enter the race as Manchester United

swept in and claimed a player.

Yeah, somebody who sort of been way yesterday actually, but not from a Liverpool point of view,

was Lenny Oiro.

Yeah, jetted off from, I imagine, south of France and headed towards Manchester in somewhat of a shock I think it's fair to say

obviously we knew a Liverpool's interest a few weeks ago now David Ornstein first

muted the fact that Liverpool were keen on the player it was reported actually at the start of this week at

Liverpool that kind of ended their pursuit due to just a belief that he was

there was gridbound for all the sense of purposes. Now obviously in the past 24

hours we've discovered that he isn't and he is in fact that Manchester United

bound some of the numbers in the round it around the 50 million euro mark up front

and 12 million thereafter when it comes to Adams you're looking at North of 50

overall and a bit on the salary as well.

According to Flomian Pletenberg, he's starting off on 113,000 pound a week which could rise to

more like 1.45 a week. I know you've been sort of the echo rather

that your colleague Ian's been across this quite a lot. What's your take on this because

we heard obviously Mr. Choose a couple of weeks ago now sort of mention the opportunistic

signing line and this to me without wanting to put two final point on it flies
