You probably have never heard about him. We all know Judas Iscariot to be the one who betrayed Jesus

But there's a whole backstory that we're going to expose and very important information to see how everything

Crescendo to the point of the greatest betrayal in human history

All right, really exciting topic here. I think there's a lot of as we said mystery a lot of our listeners have asked for a show like this

So happy to be doing this today. Yeah, I mean, you'll hear so many

Hegeographies of the saints because you want to know more about them

And so because of that you know a lot of the context of a lot of the apostles a lot of the saints in history

But because Judas Iscariot is the betrayer the one who turned over the son of man

He doesn't get the same

Kind of contextualization so people don't know a lot about this person and I think it's a really fascinating topic to understand

Descripture and to understand who it was that betrayed Christ

Yeah, the whole sense of of apostasy and turning turning your back in complete betrayal to the person of Christ is one that's riddled with fear

Like none of us would ever want to betray Jesus to that point

But the reality of it is every single sin betrays the body of Christ and

You know even in the betrayals of the apostles and Peter and all throughout the scriptures

You know Judas is stands out and I think there is a value in exploring the depth of that betrayal and

Realizing what the journey he had with Christ that ultimately led to this definitive point and what came as an effect

Yeah, I mean good work. Yeah, I was just thinking like you know

We think of Judas is the betrayer, but you know, he was an apostle, you know, and Jesus Jesus expressed great love and mercy toward him
