Summary

One of the most misunderstood and misquoted verses in the Bible — John 10:34 — finally explained. In this video, we break down what Jesus really meant when He quoted Psalm 82, showing how this verse isn’t about human divinity but about divine judgment. 👉 Perfect for anyone coming out of the New Age, confronting false teaching, or seeking deeper biblical understanding, this teaching explores the Old Testament context, New Testament setting, original language, and sound theology — with clarity and conviction. ⚠️ Spoiler: Jesus wasn’t affirming your godhood. He was exposing religious hypocrisy and pointing to a psalm that condemns the very mindset people try to justify with this verse.       -       Follow me on Instagram: @AngelamarieScafidi       - Ways to Support the Show:       🤝Monthly Partner: https://donorbox.org/heaven-healing-podcast-ministry       💜 Stripe: https://buy.stripe.com/eVafZjfnI1cD2sg8ww       💸 Venmo: https://account.venmo.com/u/angelamariescafidi       💲CashApp: https://cash.app/$AngelamarieScafidi       💶 Paypal: https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/angelaucci

Is it not written in your law?

circles that I ran in because for those of you that don't know, I was a new ageer myself before I met the

Lord Jesus Christ. And you hear things such as like, oh, see, Jesus said himself that we're gods.

0:54.2

That means that we're divine beings just like him.

0:57.5

He was only ever here to be a mirror for us to reflect our own divinity

1:01.8

and remember what we have forgotten.

1:05.3

You know, we're creators.

1:07.0

We're sovereign.

1:08.3

We're one with the universe.

1:10.3

Blah, blah, blah.

1:11.3

All of the things.

1:12.2

Okay.

1:12.5

But actually here is the truth is that Jesus was not saying any of that.

1:21.0

That literally at all.

1:24.0

Okay.

1:24.4

And when you do read this in context, both in the Old Testament where he's actually quoting from and in the full conversation happening here in John 10, it becomes like painfully obvious that Jesus was not complimenting anybody by telling the Pharisees or telling you

1:48.1

that you are gods.
