Father God, thank you as always that we can assemble together as your people,

that we can study scripture, that we can learn about Jesus.

Father, as we study tonight, it is my prayer that we would learn more about

Jesus and that you would do a miracle in our hearts and give us faith to trust in Him.

For that to happen, we invite you Holy Spirit to inspire our understanding, illuminate our understanding according to the scriptures which you have inspired to be written.

And Spirit we ask that you would reveal to us Jesus and give us hearts that would love him

because that is the most important thing in all of our life that we would know and love the

Lord Jesus in whose name we pray.
