David Carl is the right choice for the Blackhawks and head coach.

And we're going to tell you why coaching carousel is well underway in the NHL,

lots of openings, lots of firings.

But a couple weeks ago, we started to see a little bit of smoke around David Carl and the Blackhawks.

I feel like over the last handful of days, it's died down a little bit.

Or we've seen him tied to other teams

Anaheim specifically uh rangers uh gm christ rory basically saying like we're not afraid to

hire a first time head coach i think the hawks need to act on this quickly they need to make

this their guy and they got to get it done before really can be swept off his feet.

That is if he's willing to sign a deal before he meets with all the teams interested.

Yeah, I mean, that's ultimately the biggest piece of this is if he wants to leave Denver.

But I think if you're looking at an organization that I think is set up to check the boxes that he wants,

I think the Blackhawks are the teams to be able to do it. And with the teams that are looking for

new head coaches, we've recently talked about, you know, Anaheim being one of those teams that kind

of checks the same boxes that the Blackhawks doaheim being one of those teams that kind of checks the

same boxes that the Blackhawks do. But I think one of the biggest things that they could

change is, you know, what what they offer to him outside of the hockey part of it, outside of

the, you know, the team part of it. It's the, you know, David Carl has spoken about the financial, uh, life-changing opportunity that it would have to be to get him to leave Denver,

uh, and head to the NHL. I think the Blackhawks are a team that is not afraid to spend money to

make money. I, I think Danny Wirtz, um, he is an owner that, that understands that. I think he's a guy that is going

to green light allowing the front office to get someone in here. And if it has to be, you know,

a little bit more than any other team is going to offer, then so be it. Because if that means that, you know, a little bit more than any other team is going to offer, then so be it.
