I'm your host Corey Muscarra and in today's episode we're going to talk about how times of stillness are opportunities

for things to come back into balance.

More to come on that in a moment, but first let's settle in together with the sound of the bells. I came across this article the other day referencing a city in Northern India where

residents are now able to see the Himalayan mountains out in the distance.

And there are reports that they haven't been able to see those mountains in nearly 30 years, due to the pollution in the city.

However, now that most people are sheltering in place,

that same pollution isn't being created.

And now the air has the opportunity to come back. that same pollution isn't being created.

to come back into balance and new health and clarity.

And there was something about this that really just struck me.

I think we're all reading a lot of news and reports these days,

and it's easy to get desensitized to things or have a quick emotional hit from

something and then continue to scroll on. But this one landed differently

for me. It had a visceral impact in my body and I saw that headline and I just took a few moments,

minutes to reflect and feel what that's pointing to.

It made me think of a snow globe and how, you know, when you shake a snow globe there,

the snow is all around. It's kind of pretty, but it's also cluttered and distracted and you place the snow globe down

Over the course of time, usually about a minute, the snow will settle and it will restore to its usual clarity.

But in order to get that, it needs stillness.

It needs to no longer be agitated. And I think what struck me about this headline
