I want to talk to you about why I don't care if anybody copies me.

I know it can be really frustrating, you can feel really triggering when you get copied,

whether it's your business ideas, whether it's words you put on a page or a website,

whether it's the blazer that you just bought, whether it's the way that you share your opinions, I know that there are people who copy us,

right? And there's the old saying that you know invitation is a sincerest form of flattery by Oscar Wilde, I get it, and still it can rub us the wrong way when people start dressing like us, sounding like us, copying the way that we do things, the way that we do our lives.

But there's a reason I don't care about this at all.

I don't even care about the flattery piece.

I just see it a little bit differently. And there is a quote that I came across I'm going to read to you right now

which just completely encapsulates the way that I

consider what being a copycat means or what it even represents and doesn't even matter.

It's a quote from Constantine Brancusi.

I hope that's how you say it.

He says,

What is real is not the external form,

but the essence of things.

It is impossible for anyone to express anything essentially real

by imitating its exterior surface. So sometimes I have friends who call me and they're like

someone's ripped off my staff or they've taken my my sales page materials and

they've like pretty much just replicated it with a couple of small changes.

I've had people do this too even with my Facebook ads literally like rip off the content.

And I think to myself, well, like rip off the content.
