Can I just say that I resent that I think it's my fault that we've connected the word

hoot nanny to racism.

Because, and I just want to know, I have friends who are professional musicians.

I play the guitar.

I will have a party where people come over and we have a hoot nanny.

We play and we sing.

It's amazing.

That's just important word for me.

And I just lament that somehow I really do feel like we've kind of branded it to this white

supremacy thing.
