and I am bubbling over with joy and gratitude that I get to welcome you for the first time ever to the compelled podcast.

Woo! That just felt surreal to say out loud. I am so excited that you're here. I've missed you

guys. If you have not been with us until today, welcome to the compelled podcast. And if you've been

with us for a long time, welcome back. We have taken

the last year off and I have missed sitting here and opening up God's word with you each week.

It has been such a sweet year. And I bet a lot of you are curious as to why take a whole year off.

This last year has been so fruitful and it has been so rich with the

Lord behind the scenes. God has been doing a lot of good things in my own heart and in the ministry

in private. And I really believe that it is in his time that we are getting to relaunch today. And I am expected

for what he's doing. I'm expectant for what we have ahead of us because he promises us in

his word that if we commit our plans to him, he is faithful to establish our steps. And I believe

that he's establishing something that is going to be for the good of his people

and for the glory of his name and I'm ready and I'm ready for you to be here. This is going to be so

much fun. And I'm sure that a pressing question is why the name change. If you're new here,

our name used to be the Have You Heard podcast and we are now the name change. If you're new here, our name used to be the Have You Heard podcast,

and we are now the compelled podcast, and that's a pretty big deal to take such a big pivot

in the name change of a ministry of a podcast. And so I would love to share with you where that

came from, because it's actually been brewing and been the foundation

of it has been being laid for actually a pretty long time. I'm actually going to go back about 10 years.

Story time. So about 10 years ago, I gave my life to the Lord. And whenever you really meet Jesus and he saves you, and it's no longer you who live,

but Christ who lives in you, you are then driven to share with everyone who he is,
