How can people with such different views and goals work together? Obviously, part of the answer is the simple one: they have a common enemy to defeat and can work out their differences after they solve that problem. 0:58.8	Why? Why? Why? Why queers for Palestine? What is going on? Like, there's a very simple explanation.

1:29.8	is against the west. That's the very simple explanation. They have a common enemy in the West.
1:34.7	They figure they can sort out their differences later, but first they have to topple their big,
1:39.4	strong common enemy, which the Iranian Islamic Republic calls the Great Satan, which is the United States and the Western Alliance.
1:48.8	But it goes deeper than that. Okay. So, and just to bring up the concept of Iran a little bit,
1:56.1	make it clear, you know, in the past, 1979 is when the Islamic regime took over, and it took over by the
2:06.6	communists and the Islamists working together to overthrow the existing Shah, the king.
2:13.9	So they took power, and then what happened was the Islamic Republic established itself
2:18.1	and they told all the communists and the leftists that helped them get power convert to Islam
