When you read scripture, it is bountiful in examples of men and women who leveraged political institutions for the betterment of their fellow man.

You look at people like Esther, Moses, Paul, Mordecai, all these examples of people who engaged in politics for the sake of their faith, but also for the common good.

Politics is a vehicle for good.

Tell me a little bit what you mean by that.

Romans 13, we know the mission statement of government.

It is to restrain evil and promote the good.

Politics is not the problem.

A vision for politics is the problem.

So many Christians have bought the lie that

because we believe in God, we somehow are disqualified from seeking the betterment of our neighbors
