It's a Christian phenomenon where people begin to unpack, rethink, and examine their belief systems.

or some people actually get a stronger faith. But in a lot of cases, it's actually a polite

word for Christian or biblical or evangelical demolition, replacing uncomfortable beliefs with

In 2016, Blake Chesdien coined a popular hashtag ex-evangelical, encouraging people to share their stories who transitioned or left their Christian faith.

The scripture commands each one of us to scrutinize and to examine themselves,

to fact-check themselves, to have a thoughtful preparation, to have reasonable skepticism,

to cooperate with others, to have multiple perspectives, and appreciation for all that God has shown in His creation yet, what we see happening

in the modern deconstruction movement is not that.

Pastors who lost their faith in Jesus recently.

And I remember this like yesterday.

Some of them, for example, like Joshua Harris, when I was younger and a youth pastor,

I read his best-selling book,

I Kissed Dating Goodbye in 1997. This guy wrote the book. And then he wrote a book on courting.

And it was actually very powerful book that revolutionized and kind of challenged me to live pure

and to not embrace the cultural view on dating. Then he became a pastor and turns out that he divorces his wife of 20 years in 2019
