And last week on God is Gray, we got into the number of sexual partners, what is now known as body counts in a lot of circles.

And this was really my response to what it was like to grow up in purity culture, swing

into hookup culture, and then figure out what it meant to be a promiscuous woman.

So next week, we're going to talk about sexual integrity and how I centered out and really figured out the balance between purity culture and hookup culture.

But just as a beautiful in-between, today we're going to talk to Sheila Ray Greg Guar.

Sheila is a popular speaker, marriage blogger, and the author of eight books, including the Good

Girls Guide to Great Sex and the Great Sex Rescue.

Sheila's passion is for marriage, and she and her husband, Keith, speak together at marriage

outreach and at Family Life Canada marriage conferences.

Sheila believes in authenticity and gives real solutions to the very real and messy problems

women and couples can face.

I love this conversation.

You'll see that although Sheila and I are not completely aligned on what it means to live

in sexual integrity as a Christian, her believing that sex is for marriage and me believing that

there's flexibility and freedom to explore outside of marriage. Sheila is still holding the line

and demanding that toxic evangelical messages about sex are apologized and repented for

and reformed. Sheila is quite the badass, part of my friend.

She is educated, devoted to data, and fact-based sex education.
