Welcome into MPT in five on Saturday, January 20th.

0:14.2

I am Frank Samful joined by Chris Towers and we will start things off

0:18.5

with George Kirby, who I will admit,

0:20.5

I am the high guy on, I have him as my SP 9. Chris you have him down at

0:24.3

SP 15 Scott even lower down at SP 18 why are you looking to fade George Kirby

0:30.7

at his cost? I think the biggest thing is just in an era where

0:34.1

strikeouts are so important. He just doesn't get very many of them. He was

0:38.7

0:49.6

0:57.0

three-start stretch at the end of July with 26 strikeouts, I believe believe in 15 innings.

1:02.6

From August 1st on, his strike out rate was 22%,

1:05.5

which is right around the average.

1:07.0

It would be an improvement over the first half,

1:08.8

but not the big improvement that it looks like

1:12.3

if you just look at the overall second half splits.

1:15.3

I think it really good fastball great command obviously still looking for that swing and miss secondary pitch.

1:23.6

The splitter showed signs of that in the second half,

1:26.8

although as he started throwing that splitter more
