Specifically, no one will be able to purchase cars from Tesla using Bitcoin.

This is a significant change of direction from a company that invested $1.5 billion in Bitcoin for its own corporate treasury function earlier this year.

We are concerned about rapidly increasing use of fossil fuels for Bitcoin mining and transactions, especially coal, which has the worst emissions of any fuel.
