Here's something you may not have known, which is that Bill Gates prefers Android over iPhone.

Really? Are you surprised by that?

I mean, he went head to head. He battled with Apple for years. Him and Jobs, they went back

when you had to Windows versus Mac thing. So maybe it's not all that surprising. But he's got his own

stuff going on versus Google as well. But I guess the man's got to pick a platform. And it seems

to me, he's got a kind of thing going where, because he's been getting questioned with the Tesla

stuff as well. Like, oh, were you shorting Tesla? Are you pals with Elon Musk? What's going on

over here? But he's kind of got a little history of being a contrarian where it seems that one

platform is, let's say, taking off or what you might expect him to use or choose. And then he's

like, no, not for me. That's not the one. I mean, it's hard to say that about Android now because

obviously Android is the most successful platform, at least in terms of user base.

I mean, I guess depending on region and a number of other factors. But anyway, the conversation

came up because recently he was doing an interview on Clubhouse. And one of the things about Clubhouse

is it's iOS only for now. Won't be forever, but for now. And so people are like, wait a second.

Wait a second, Bill. You're Mr. Android. How are you on this app right now? How do you find yourself

on this application? Mr. Android. He's like, no, you know, he's like, I can get it. I can get on

an iPhone here and there. I got those two. I'm Bill Gates. Yeah. You can get any phone. Sure.

And but he did something similar when the question was posed to him. He was asked

why he chooses to use an Android phone more specifically. Let's see what the question was.

Sorkin who was doing the interview was curious if his preference might have changed given that he

was speaking through a service that's only available for iOS. In response, the Microsoft founder
