0:07.0

I'm like, yeah, I am.

0:09.0

They say, so what's the difference?

0:11.0

What's the main difference between the Catholic church and any of the other Protestant denominations or non-Catholic churches?

0:23.0

Maybe it would be this. Maybe it would be authority.

0:27.0

I know that's a bad word.

0:29.0

It's something for many of us. We don't like it. We're like, eh, authority.

0:32.0

That doesn't sit right with me. What do you mean authority?

0:36.0

I would say this, that the church has the ability to teach us, they teach authoritatively, that church has the ability to teach us in the name of Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit, the glory of God the Father, that the church has the ability to tell us this is true, that's not true.

1:21.0

But it's not an invisible kingdom. Why? Because we can look at Jesus as the king. He establishes the kingdom.

1:27.0

But when he says to Peter, no, you know, assignment, now Peter says, I'll give you the keys to the kingdom, et cetera, et cetera.

1:33.0

He's referencing Isaiah, the book of the prophet Isaiah. And in Isaiah, there is this role in the kingdom. There's a role. There's the king, obviously.

1:42.0

But there's also the prime minister, the al-Habai, the one who's the overseer. Then when the king is gone, this person is in charge.

1:49.0

This person has the authority of the king, as the king says that in Isaiah chapter 22.

1:54.0

And there's almost word for word what Jesus gives to Peter, the keys to the kingdom of heaven.

2:01.0

He gives the church a visible structure and a actual hierarchy. And he says, you can actually teach now, teach in my name, the Holy Spirit will lead you into all truth to be able to teach in my name.
