Today, we're going to be talking about an aspect of culture that Jesus has had a huge impact on.

In this book, what I'm trying to do is to show you an approach toward examining the case for Jesus

that I don't think really anybody else has done much of.

And that is to look at the case for Jesus as if it was a no-body murder or a no-body missing

person's case. That's where somebody kills a spouse and then claims that she ran off.

When, in fact, he murdered her and there's no evidence in the crime scene,

we don't even work it as a homicide for the first several years.

And then, sure enough, once we open the case as a homicide,

we have no evidence in the crime scene to return to.

So, how do you make a case when you have no evidence in a crime scene?

Well, you trace the fuse that led up to that explosive moment when something terrible happened

and then you examine the fallout of that blast and the blast radius.

It's fuse and fallout.

And I decided to take a look at the person of Jesus in the same way.

If we had no evidence from the New Testament at all, if in fact, we simply rejected even looking
