I had, for the first time in over a decade, completely forgotten that it was mystery out.

So I'm overcome with potential

conversational topics at 12 o'clock, acts of God and national disasters notwithstanding, or

permitting rather, we will of course be having our weekly frolic through the mysteries that you need

solving. If you're not familiar with that feature, if you're new to the programme, would you trust me, do you think? And I tell you that it is a real treat. Last week,

in fact, was one of the all-time great. Four minutes after ten is the time. We will also be turning

our attention to Prince Williams' rather cheerful comments, especially in the context of huge

spikes in hate crime directed, LGBTIQ people.

Prince William just being rather grown up and modern and normal and human about things

by revealing that he would be supremely cool and supportive if one of his children were to come out as gay.

I think we'll just do stories about coming out on that because it's something that the rest

of us have no real knowledge or understanding of it.

Do you know that little phrase I sometimes used to describe my favorite subjects for you

and I to talk or you and me to talk about on the radio?

It's the things about which you know nothing until you suddenly need to know everything.

I just think somehow that we can almost, you know, forewarned is forearmed preparation for stuff.

Oddly, it's a phrase I coined, I think, in the context of discussing care homes.

Not a lot of obvious parallels to be drawn between putting elderly parents into care homes
