I'm excited on today, church family, that Jesus lives and lives forever more.

And I just, I do want to get us to not embrace this moment casual.

Because for true disciples of Jesus, we don't just celebrate the resurrection once a year.

Every day of your life, you are thankful that Jesus saw us fit as worth dying for. So Father,

in this moment, we want to say thank you. Thank you for your goodness. Thank you for your mercy.

Thank you for the redemptive plan because you did not want a sin-str people to be separated from you and you saw it fit

for some strange reason to save us and for that God we say thank you we're not here celebrating a rabbit

we're not here talking about some Easter eggs but we recognize that the lion out of the tribe of Judah conquered death.

And for that, God, we're forever thankful.

And just like I prayed in private, I also declared in public, all of the study and preparation means absolutely nothing if you aren't magnified and aren't glorified. I'm asking that you

breathe in this moment. Spirit of the living God fall fresh upon your people. It's in your

precious son's name we pray in Jesus' name and everybody says amen. Well I want to get to work.

Isn't that right if I do that? If you would, could you turn your Bible to the gospel of Luke chapter 24?

We're going to launch our reading at verse one and I want to be obedient to what the Holy Spirit has impressed upon my heart to edify you

with on today.

So for a few moments, we're going to rehearse and remember why today is so important

and why we celebrate the victory that death could not hold and the power

that hail could not stop. We're going to talk about the importance of the resurrection.

But then later, I'm going to address a bigger problem that we're dealing with on today.
