I'm Jay Warner Wallace.

Today we're going to talk about something that's a simple question that

I actually ask audiences all around the country when I do appearances to do talks on one

nature or another and I think last year in 2014 I did well gee I think this year I did 72 appearances 72 events around the country in 20 different states and nine

different university campuses and I always try to find a way at some at

some point in the talk either the beginning or at some point in the middle of the talk, to ask a simple question.

And I'm always surprised at how difficult it is to get the answer for this question from a group.

Maybe it's just pure pressure, not everyone's comfortable giving the answer to this, but

it's a simple question, and the question simply is, why are you a Christian?

Now I want to ask that question today, and before I give you the kinds of answers I typically get I want you to think for a second about how you might answer that question given your own experience if you're a Christian.

Just think about it in terms of why am I? Why do I watch

this show every week? Why do I watch the NRB network if you're watching us there or on YouTube where you watch our

YouTube channel in any case if you're familiar with the work of cold-case
