Hey, Patrick, I just recently found your show, and I've been listening to you, and it's

very interesting. I'm enjoying your show, but I'm also convinced after listening to you that

no one is going to get to heaven. I mean, here's my dear thing, is I believe God is love,

and I believe that love is the most important thing.

And, I mean, there's so many things that the Catholic Church dictates,

and some of them, I think, are just absolutely off the wall,

and they're made by men.

As I grow older, I'm now struggling with some of the, I look at people and I, people are just,

everybody is just doing the best they can. And some people don't have the same tools that perhaps

you and I have. And they have a little bit more difficult time of adapting to life.

Yeah, we're all trying to get along. That's true. We all seek happiness.

Where problems begin is where we choose lower goods instead of higher goods, or we choose

one form of happiness when there's a higher form that God wants for us.

So I see where you're coming from, Bill. I totally understand it. And I can understand why you might

have these feelings. Let me offer a few thoughts. Just something to chew on. Rules are necessary

for harmony and for the well-functioning of a society. And if we didn't have those rules, whether in

our families or on the open road or in the church for that matter, it would be chaos and

it would be miserable and we couldn't live, we couldn't function. So all I would do, number one,

Bill, is to encourage you to think of the rules are there, that's true, and there are many rules,

that's true. But they're there for a reason, and it helps

the body of Christ function in a cohesive, coherent way where people's rights are protected and
