Some interesting news here, Google Pixel sales doubled thanks to Budget Pixel 3A.

Not what I expected to see. I mean, I kind of thought it might be popular with the price point and the focus

being on these budget devices and of course the marketing plan because they were

going after some heavy hitter devices on the web page,

comparative stuff and they had the TV commercials and so on.

But double, double the sales at the previous pixel and if you recall, Google came out and basically

said look we're not happy with where the pixels at. They weren't happy with the sales volume

of the previous version of Pixel,

which sort of motivated this particular device

and a different approach.

Now, of course, they're still gonna make that flagship stuff,

that expensive stuff, but this 3A performance

to me is an indication as far as where the marketplace is going and how much people are

willing to spend and also where the value exists and it's

becoming increasingly clear that the value does not exist anywhere near the $1,000 price point, let alone the thousand dollar price point let alone the

eight hundred dollar price point let alone the the seven hundred dollar

price point people want to be around that five hundred dollar ticket at least in

North America for the time being other parts of the world

may be even a little bit lower now Google has some advantages in this department

they have some some abilities here that other upstart manufacturers might not have like in like a like a pocket full of cash
