So please tune in. If you caught the show last year, first of all, welcome back. Thank you for

watching again. You may have noticed that there's something slightly amiss this year,

namely that my usual co-hosts, Paul Prescott and Aria Lathornhill are not here. Some of you might

actually know that Paul Prescott is running for office in the state of Pennsylvania. He's running

for a state senate seat. We actually couldn't really talk about it when he was on the show because

Jacobin is, of course, a non-profit, so we can't and don't endorse any political candidates.

So, of course, I would never endorse Paul Prescott, but I'm just reporting to you that

he has already garnered a ton of really good union endorsements. This is actually really

unusual, I think, for a young progressive insurgent candidate. He's gotten a ton of union

endorsements from local, you know, large blue-collar unions. So if you were a fan of labor, Paul,

that might be a campaign that you want to keep your eye on. As far as my other co-host Aria Lathornhill,

you know, much like Anna and Nando on the weekends show, she has got a ton of work commitments.

Some of you may know that she also has three kids. So unfortunately, she can't be with us every week.

So for the most part, this year, I'll be flying solo, of course, with trusty producer

Young Kale in the background and occasionally on screen. But I also want to mention if you

are fans of Paul and Aria Lath, which, you know, obviously and hopefully you should be,

they will be making guest appearances from time to time. So definitely keep watching.

So for today's show, as I think you know, I will be talking to

my friends Amber Frost and Danny Bessner about why the Democrats are such losers.
