Let me just start by saying it's an unusual thing to be a, you know, an entrepreneur or a pastor or a media person, and then suddenly find

yourself characterized in the news media as a dangerous extremist, a dominionist, and a Christian nationalist.

None of the language has ever been used by the people that are typically labeled that way.

But there's something peculiar about the Christian engagement as citizens that is perhaps destabilizing to the status quo.

And the status quo, if it has to change, can only be changed by the church.

Jesus said, I will build my church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. Politicians don't

mind saying there's a spiritual battle, a spiritual struggle. But if you're a Christian, you understand

what that really means. It means that there are sinister, intelligent powers that are cunningly

capable of destabilizing and overthrowing nations.

We see the story of history.

Then we see the United States in its multitude of perplexities.

I mean, I can just give you one, which drives me particularly crazy.

Every 90 days, the nation is $1 trillion deeper in debt.

And that trillion dollars isn't going to Charleston, by the way, to any minority community to help entrepreneurs build a thriving

community. So one of the frustrations I've got as a citizen, as a Christian, is I'm wondering

if the political system isn't a little bit rigged itself, that on both sides of the spectrum, we have people that are apparently battling with each

other over big ideas, only to come to the conclusion that when I look at surveys, 75%, 80%

of Americans don't want to have $35 trillion worth of debt, but it doesn't stop them from

spending.
