The dates are February 5th through the 7th, and the subject of the conference is growing in the Gifts of the Spirit.

You can join us there in person or via live stream, and what you're going to get out of that conference is some serious theological training on the gifts of the Spirit.

What are they? How do they operate?

There's also going to be opportunities to break out and practice spiritual gifts in a kind of biblical,

safe, and orderly way. We've got lectures from myself, Michael Miller, Michael Roundtry, John Mark Baker, from the Minor Prophets, and Dr. Sam Storms. So if you're looking to move beyond just

the theoretical and learning the theology of spiritual guests, but you're actually wanting to start

practicing them for yourself, I'd encourage you to come out and hang out with us February 5th

through the 7th there in San Diego, California. Why is evangelism seem not to be working here in the West? See a lot of people

using classical arguments for apologetics, reasoning from their faith, trying to convince atheists

and agnostics. And typically when I watch on YouTube, they're just dunking on these fools and

humiliating them publicly and saying, ah, this is the answer. Look, it's so clear. But then I don't

see people actually coming to faith. I just see these giant I win moments online. What's the

disconnect from our gospel message and what's happening in people receiving that gospel message

in culture? Why is evangelism broken in the West? Well, I think Augustine has got some answers for us from

church history that will apply to our cultural moment. My name is Joshua Lewis in this episode
