Welcome back to new rock stars, I'm Eric Boss, and maybe the biggest mystery facing us for Avengers Doomsday is how will this movie address the way the multiverse saga was going to go with the Kang Dynasty?

Specifically the way the Ant Man trilogy totally set things up.

Paul Rudd's Scott Lang is going to return an Avengers Doomsday, along with his daughter Cassie Lang, played by Catherine Newton. So as soon as this guy opens his mouth in Doomsday, we're all going to be wondering this question, will he mention Kang? While all three Ant-Man movies together seem like kind of an odd choice for how Marvel Studios was going to be setting

up the thematic through line of the multiverse saga.

They just love Paul Red that much, and so do we hear at New Rock Stars.

While it may be one of the lesser beloved trilogies as we look back at the Marvel Studios

Infinity Saga, the weird turns that this franchise took as these three movies were developed,

shot, and released, kind of tell the stories

of Marvel Studios right before Endgame and right after Endgame.

It's really fascinating to revisit these three films, not just for the weird big swings

quantum man took, but for why Paul Red's Ant Man is the character for the Multiverse Saga

memes that we all love so much.

So in this episode of the Road to Doomsday Marvel Rewatch series, we are going back to the Ant Man trilogy to make some pretty bold statements about Marvel Studios real mistakes when it comes to Quantum Mania and what might have been instead of Doomsday and what Doomsday might build on from the world building that we saw in Quantummania in the previous two Ant Man films before it.
