White House Bureau Chief. And every week on this show, I invite one of the

most compelling and sometimes unexpected power players in Washington and beyond in for a chat

I'm coming to you from the World Economic Forum, where President Trump once again rocked Europe and

the world with a classically Trumpian speech, again chastising European allies, demanding the

sale of Greenland, and raising more questions about how the world order is changing under this

administration. Treasury Secretary Scott Besant led the U.S. delegation here, and I've been wanting

to sit down with him for quite some time. And we're better to chat with the guy charged with reshaping the economy in the U.S. and abroad

than right here at the World Economic Forum.

Davos attracts those at the global peak of power across business and politics.

Over 60 heads of state have gathered here, including President Trump.

And this year's theme, a spirit of

dialogue asks leaders to focus on global cooperation. So with that in mind, Besson and I had a lot

to talk about. Here's my conversation with Treasury Secretary Scott Descent.
