How are y'all doing?

This is RTK and Happy Thanksgiving to every one of you.

Man, what a year this has been, right?

So many things for us to be thankful for.

But it's really been a challenging year for everybody all over the world.

And so you may be staring at this holiday season, you know, a little skeptical or maybe feeling happy or maybe feel just, oh my goodness, just all kinds of emotions.

But we have to remember that the emotions that we feel are up to us, whether we allow them emotions to be out of control and push us to sadness or us find a reason to be thankful and joyful.

And so, you know, this year I lost my dad, my daddy went home to be with the Lord, went to heaven five, probably up four and a half months ago.

And man, I thought there ain't no way I could ever live without my daddy.

And man, it hurts so bad.

It ain't the same living this life and my daddy not being here.

But you know, this is our first holiday without him.

And this is just a way that through this, how I've been navigating through my emotions is I just made a choice that I refuse to be sad.

I refuse to allow something that I can't change to distract me and make me lose or not have a great memory from this holiday with my family with the ones that are still here.
