So, we are going to talk today about a number of the bullshit arguments that are made on trans issues in the media.

You are just to introduce you properly to our listeners, you are a, well, you do many things.

You're a musician, a spoken word performer, a writer,

you have a blog. If people go to Julia Serrano.com, they will find out of all the many things you do,

but you're the author of a number of books, including Whipping Girl, a transsexual woman on

sexism and the scapegoating of femininity, excluded, making feminist and queer movements more inclusive,

outspoken, a decade of transgender activism and trans feminism. And one that I have not read,

but have to read, because it just sounds totally weird and fascinating, which is your novel,

99 Erics, a cat cataclysm faux novel. And when people read the description

of 99 Erics, which I believe does contain 99 men called Eric, it just sounds so weird and

wonderful.

It's, yeah, that was a lot of fun to write.

And it's definitely sort of, uh, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy meets bisexual, queer woman in San Francisco, but none of it happens in outer space.

So, what, what more could you want than this?

But you, and I should also mention, and it's funny that this is, you do so many things

that this comes at the bottom of your resume, which is that you are also a biologist.
