Why should I create an Islamic will?

In this episode we're going to answer the question,

why should I have an Islamic will? Primarily, if you're living in an Islamic country,

you may not need to have written down everything because it will as you pass away, be executed

in a way that is within the teachings of the Quran and the Sunnah, within the Islamic teachings.

Nonetheless, it is best to write down what you own and where it is.

Many people have passed on. People don't know where their wealth is or even what they own,

how to reach it and how to get to it.

Allah Almighty wants you to benefit after your death by ensuring that what was yours during your

life goes to those whom he decides it should go to after your death.

And it is only when it is fulfilled that way that you plug in to the reward of the hereafter

for having done it the right way. If you do not do it that way and you decide, I'm not going

to give whom Allah has asked me to give, you've just unplugged from that reward. Your wealth is

actually the ownership of Allah because when you came

onto the earth you didn't even have clothing. Allah Almighty ensured that those around you spent

their wealth in order to clothe you and provide for you initially. Later on, Allah equipped you in a way that you started earning.

Then Allah wanted you to clothe those whom he placed under your authority, such as your own children and family members.

And then when you die, Allah says, well, whatever you found on earth should remain on earth. Where will it go?
