Hello and welcome back to Sociology 101. Today we're going to talk about what may seem like a

controversial issue because in the news we hear a lot about the Black Lives Matter movement.

And don't worry, I'm not going to get too political.

This is not about politics.

This show is for sociology.

And so that's what we're really going to be focusing our attention on is the doctrine of

salvation and practical theology.

We've talked about before how my undergraduate work was an applied theology because

this is where the rubber meets the road.

This is when we take the theology that we hold to out of the diademes and out of the

theological classrooms and out of just the esoteric, weird philosophical talk, and we actually bring it into the real world

and we ask ourselves, how does this apply? How do we use these things in such a way that it's

going to impact our world? So that's what we're going to really talk about today is the practical

side of our sotriological views and how those views inform us in our discussions with current political issues and those kinds of things.

And we're going to specifically do this in engaging with Dr. James White with the dividing line program of Alpha and Omega Ministries because he produced a video, which was sent to me weeks ago, and he ended up playing it again today

and talking about some of the political issues

that are going on.

And by the way, I agree with a lot of what Dr. White says

on these topics, as I agree with a lot of what Dr. White says

on other topics as well.

Obviously, we are seen as kind of foils for each other's views regarding

satriology with regard to Calvinism and provisionism. But in the long haul, we do agree with
