Hello, my friends, and welcome to Live Inspired Monday Morning Moments with John Lleary.

We record these so you and I can begin our days in awe and on fire with a burst of inspiration.

And there are days and there are the start of weeks where we need a little bit of the

reminder that the best is yet to come.

So here we go.

Over the last several months, I've had the honor of speaking with health care leaders across

various disciplines,

employed by different hospital systems, and located in different geographic regions,

and serving radically different populations. It's been an awesome experience.

Regardless, their size, their geography, or their patient population served,

I've reminded these leaders of the profound impact in seemingly small acts of kindness. The little things, I remind them, aren't. From the

welcome desk to the C-suite, they possess the power to make mighty, positive, and lasting effect

on the lives of those in need.

As evidence of this truth, let me share with you a sweet little story from our book

in awe about a young man doing in, and I'm using my finger quotes right now, an ordinary job

who aided mightily in my recovery.

Every day, I spent in the hospital, was sectioned off into little pockets of torture.

There were the brutal bandage changes, the speech therapy sessions, the occupational therapy moments.

And then there was the most painful part of the day, the physical therapy hour.

For those of you who have had to recover from a painful injury, you know how excruciating

physical therapy can be.

In my case, the extent of my injuries demanded the rehabilitation of every single joint in my body.
