And we're going to go and jump into today's devotional.

Yes, let's jump on into it. Y'all, today we are reading out of Joshua 10 versus 13 and 14.

And it's titled answered prayer. It says, the sun stayed in the middle of the sky,

and it did not set as on the normal day. There has never been a day like this one before,

or since. When the Lord answered such a prayer, surely the Lord fought for Israel that day.

The love letter from God says, beloved child, I love giving you all you need to walk in the

abundance of my blessings. It pleases me when you ask me for something that will further my kingdom

on earth. The more you crave me, the more you will see my power in your life.

You may think I do not always hear you. I do, but I love you too much to give you something that I

know will be a distraction from the work I have given you to do. You have a royal heritage.

You're not called to an ordinary life. You are called to the extraordinary.

Now is the time for you to step into your appointed position. Call out to me and I will

place a crown on your head. Love your Heavenly Father. The reflection says, what a wonderful day

it is when we ask God for something and see it come to pass with our own eyes. When we ask God

with a pure heart for something that will cause his kingdom to grow, he hears and answers.

The treasure of truth says, God will always display his power when it's needed to accomplish

his purpose through us. Yeah, I've noticed that the times when I'm most unhappy with how God

answered a prayer was because I was trying to build my own kingdom and not his kingdom.

And the way I can tell that it's about my kingdom is because if it is my kingdom,

I get to control what it looks like. I get to pick out the windows. I get to pick out the floors.
