Well, hey friends, welcome back to Risen Mother Hood.

I'm Laura Whifler and my co-host Emily Jensen

will be joining me in a moment. But before we get to the show I want to make sure

that you know about my new book called A World Wonder. This book is a fiction book.

It's a mass market book so it is not explicitly Christian.

But my hope is that this would be a book that you and your children would read again and again

as you follow the story of a little girl named Cora who grows up to be a world famous architect. She has big dreams and she

ends up accomplishing some amazing things. But over time the people of a small town really

teach her what really matters in life and how it's really about the people that we love and the people that we share our time

and talents with.

So my hope is that this book would be something that your child brings to mind over time or

springboards good conversations about compassion and generosity and giving of ourselves to other people and how we can serve them.
