we're going to be looking at two 20th century people who paved the metaphysical road for us.

Ghost investigator Harry Price and Sybil Leaks. As students with a spiritual

and paranormal we feel it's important to have an understanding of the people who

helped influence many of the beliefs views and conceptions of today. If you

remember from last week's Q&A show we had to listen or write in and share her

concerns about going public with her raky healing and intuitive work. She was

afraid to come out of the psychic closet to her friends and family and with

good reason. Even to this day those of us who walked this path face so much

judgment which is why we wanted to take a look at some of the brave souls who

laid the groundwork for us. In previous episodes we've touched on some of

these courageous people like Emanuel Swedenborg, Madame Blavatsky, Edgar Kasey,

AEY and Pamela Coleman Smith. Before we dive into the life story of one of

England's most famous witches, Sybil Leaks, let's first look at some interesting

facts to remind us all that being a practicing psychic, medium or witch is still

not an easy road to walk. Even today across the world many of these practices

are ridiculed, banned or worse. People are still suffering persecution for their

beliefs. In 2011 Romania passed a law that finds witches for incorrectly

predicting the future. In 2012 600 women in Tanzania were killed for being

witches. In India around 100 to 150 women each year are executed for being

witches. Because of all of this August 10 has been declared world day against
