This week we're diving back into the fun house that is Diet Culture, so right away a

content warning for talk about eating disorders and dieting.

The reason we're getting into those topics is that we're going to hear the story of

Weight Watchers with a special guest, Aubrey Gordon.

For five years she wrote the anonymous column, Your Fat Friend for Self Magazine and now

she's no longer anonymous.

She has a new book out, what we don't talk about when we talk about fat and she's the

host of one of my personal favorite podcasts, Maintenance Faze.

She takes us on a journey that includes Heinz Ketchup, Maya Angelou and some personal reflections

on what it's like to join Weight Watchers as a preteen.

For scanning countless labels for multivitamins, they could rely on for their own kids.

They decided they had to create one for themselves and make it with the same high standards approach

that ritual is known for and parents can trust, introducing essential for kids.

Now I don't have children, but I am a little like a child and how much I dislike taking

pills.

Ritual takes the chore out of it by making a pleasant, you know, ritual.

I love the look and smell and style of ritual and it makes it easy to think of it as part

of the same morning routine as yoga, meditation and coffee.

Now kids need a little more help from what I understand.
