We were in Arizona when I got a phone call on the Friday morning,

March 22nd, 1996 to tell me that Howard was a victim of a homicide.

I was in complete disbelief. No, I can't be, you know, I mean murdered.

It was very violent. It was slaughtered. He was dead over 40 times.

It had to be somebody who he knew that hated him so much.

Who could have done this to Howard? Who would want to kill my son?

How could I tell you about Howard?
