So the commanders are going to release their first official depth chart and it hurts

T.B. that they may actually still list Marcus Mariota as the number one

quarterback and that he might start the pre- as the number one one. It's just so dumb.

And that he might start the pre-season game on Saturday.

That would be even dumber.

It's one thing to just have a meaningless depth chart.

It's another thing now to put your prized draft pick, your number two guy behind

backup linemen and everybody in a pre-season, a meaningless pre-season game.

I don't know if that happens though.

I recall games where the first team offensive line plays a half,

but the first team quarterback only plays like two series.
