Hey there, I'm so glad you stopped by for this podcast.

We hope so much we can serve you today.

Well, it is with much bitter sweetness that you and I conclude Romans chapter 8. At this point point I don't even know how many weeks we've

been in it a lot of weeks a lot of weeks because it seemed to take us forever to even get to

Romans 8 28 much to our disdain and now it seems like it's been forever since we've been there

but we're going to look today at verses 35 through 39.

But I have to start at 28 because we need our context.

And I pray that as we begin reading there, the Holy Spirit will bring back to our remembrance what we've been taught.

I love that portion of the gospel of John where Christ says

the Holy Spirit will remind you of what I have taught you. And I think of him as the holy

reminder. Bring back to our memory of what we've been taught by Christ and of Christ. I want to start at

28. I'm going to read through the end of the chapter, Romans 8, 28. And we know, everybody say it again.

We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him who have been called according to his purpose for those God

foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his son that he might be the first

born among many brothers and those he predestined what he do

and those he called what he do and those he justified what did he do what then shall we say in

response to this if god is for us who can be against us he who did not spare his own son

but gave him up for us all how will he not also

along with him graciously give us all things who will bring any charge against those whom god is chosen

it is god who justifies who is he that condemns christ jesus who died more than that who was raised

to life is at the right hand of God

and is interceding for us. We pick up right here in our lesson today, but with every bit of that
