It's currently 11 a.m. in Beijing, China, and President Donald Trump is getting ready to begin his second day of meetings with President Xi before returning to the United States. Later this hour, they're going to meet for tea and lunch,

how quaint. We will see what happens there and certainly talk about it. But so far the sharpest

words from either leader have been about Taiwan. She warned Trump that if the issue is handled

poorly, it could lead to conflict in an extremely dangerous situation. It's a bit of a warning shot there.

As for Trump, well, as we all suspected, he's on a bit of a charm offensive.

Why not?

He has all these business leaders traveling with him to China, and he wants his buddies to be happy on the way home.

So there's that.

Now, during a state dinner, Trump officially invited President Xi to visit Washington in September. And then there's the war Trump started in Iran. The White House says the two sides agreed that the Strait of Hormuz needs to be reopened and that Iran shouldn't control it. Okay? Sounds like something we've all heard before. Now, Trump also told Fox News that Xi says he wants to see a deal made to end the

war and even offered to help make that deal happen. But the man said a lot about the end to the war,

Trump, that is, in Iran in the last several weeks. So I am not holding my breath here. We will
