I like to start with something funny. One Sunday morning, this man walked into church,

wearing blue jeans, t-shirt, and an old cowboy hat.

Some of the members were appalled. They sent notes to the pastor expressing their concern.

Afterwards, the pastor told the man he needed to pray and ask God what he should wear when he came back to his church.

Next week, the man came back wearing the exact same thing.

The pastor said, I told you to ask God what you should wear before you come back to my church.

The man said, I did ask God and he told me he didn't know what to wear because he's never been here before.

Hold up your Bible, say it like you mean it. This is my Bible. I am what it says I am.

I have what it says I have. I can do what it says I can do.

Today, I will be taught the Word of God. I boldly confess my mind is alert.

My heart is receptive. I will never be the same in Jesus' name. God bless you.

I want to talk to you today about who's the boss.

There's a battle taking place in all of us. It's a battle between the flesh and the spirit.

The flesh is our natural, carnal desires. That's what we were born with.
