All right, welcome to another Who's Right? It's me. And it's me. But mostly me. So today today we're going to talk about a kind of thorny question.

I like this one because I feel like it's got like scandal vibes.

Like, ooh, this is what you're going to talk about.

So we're going to talk about marriage.

Marriage is what brings us together today.

Marriage.

So we got to talking about marriage off of this idea of, is it like a spiritual partnership or a practical alliance?

And that got us thinking about arranged marriages.

And are those actually a good idea?

So, you know, what initially- Counterintuitive proposal from Amanda Knox, pro-arranged marriage? Yeah, counterintuitive, yeah, you know, what initially... Counterintuitive proposal from Amanda Knox, pro-arranged marriage?

Yeah, you know, I'm opening to this idea.

Now, some caveat language needs to be, like,

or even just some acknowledgments needs to go into this.

So in the history of all human history, arranged marriages have not really benefited women.

Let's just throw that out there.

And, you know, as recently as still today, there are women who are sort of treated like chattel and passed from the hand of one man to another in a patriarchal society.

To this day, this is a thing that happens, and arranged marriages are a thing.

And so in that sort of terms, of course, arranged marriages are bad.
