This is the 2025 Canyons 100K preview episode joined by friends, colleagues, Leah Yingling, Brett Hornig.

A couple things before we get started.

I think we might have talked about this in 2024, but just a bit of interesting history that unites all of us.

Back in 2021, Brett ran the Canyons 100K.

And it should be noted that two weeks before that,

raced the Peterson Ridge Rumble,

took first place,

took down Jeff Stern and Ryan Kaiser,

so no slouch result there.

But two weeks later,

mysteriously,

a 30-second place finish.

Leah and I race canyons the next year.

Leah gets the golden ticket. Take second. Super

impressive. I finish a respectable 39th in 11. And you were covered in mud too. I fell with 50 to go.

I took this turn and I thought that that was going to be the finish line and I totally ate

shit. I was perfectly clean until then. I think we should share in

the show notes a picture of you at the end of that race because I think you had that was the era of

your mustache. You were wearing like a bucket hat. And you're just covered covered in mud. Yeah.

That was good. I was spectating that year.
